In 2019, Entasis, through our Architectural term service agreement, was engaged to provide renovations to approximately 6,000 square feet of the west end of the SEI’s first floor. The renovations included three different areas. The first is a 2,400 square foot office suite. The second is two training rooms totaling 2,000 square feet and the third was a 1,600 square foot corridor upgrade that included the training room breakout areas and a control desk.

The office suite consisted of twelve private offices, two cubicle workstations, a collaborative area, storage area and entry/reception.

The two training rooms consisted of one larger and one smaller training room that needed to be separated by an acoustic movable wall. This movable wall needed to be capable of moving completely out of the way with a designated storage area so that the two training rooms could be opened into one larger training room. The training rooms have AV upgrades for video conferencing and training.

The corridor and breakout areas were designed to accommodate multiple smaller groups for collaborative areas to meet outside of the training rooms. This breakout area also serves as a gathering space for catered functions. Storage cabinets for a variety of materials and supplies with deep and durable solid surface countertops permit plenty of space to display food and beverage for catered events.

This project was designed and constructed in 2019 and finished early 2020.
