Gally Hill
Our client envisioned transforming a highly visible lot which was home to a dilapidated structure at the entrance to Historic Harmony, PA. This inspired a new construction design for a mixed-use building that would be harmonious with the architectural details of the town.
The Gally Hill building is a three-story structure that includes a first and second floor to be used for business, and a third floor residential two-bedroom, single bathroom apartment.
Situated on a small, sloped lot, each of the business levels has exterior accessible entrances with a separate entrance to the residential apartment at the rear of the building.
A blended compilation of modern and historic style materials helps achieve an aesthetic with details influenced by surrounding architecture and includes cantilevers, dormers, and brackets which graft this new building into the thriving historical community.
This revitalization enhances the community's pride of the area, creating a welcoming first impression for visitors and residents of this beautiful town.
